Rushdie's knighthood

It is vital to understand the background of the United Kingdom’s decision to award knighthood to Salman Rushdie. United Kingdom’s Queen Elizabeth II is the Supreme Governor of the Church of England and holds the title of “Defender of the Faith”. Humiliation of Muslims is the real reason behind the Queen’s decision to award knighthood to Salman Rushdie although she holds the title of “Defender of the Faith”. The question is which faith she wants to defend.

Queen belongs to The House of Windsor and one of its members Prince Edward, Duke of Windsor visited Germany to enjoy the company of Adolf Hitler in 1937. According to the official website of the British Monarchy "The only British monarch of the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha was King Edward VII, who reigned for nine years … King George V replaced the German-sounding title with that of Windsor during the First World War." The House of Windsor and its connections with the conservatives and rightwing are obvious to everyone.

United Kingdom and the West have always tried to destroy non-European cultures and religions. Islam is not the only target they have in mind. The Western history is full of genocides. Killing of millions of Jews and the Roma is a proof of the horrible history of the West.
