The Rise of China and the USA

The Chinese economy is growing at an enormous rate and it is the second biggest economy in the world according to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in terms of GDP based on PPP (Purchasing Power Parity).

The cold war between China and theUSA is becoming intense as days go by. Chinese leadership is concentrating on long term goals however the American leadership is short sighted because of its electoral cycles.

Americans are trying hard to catch up and build strategic alliance against China with the help of Japan, India and Australia. These efforts are bearing no fruits because the Chinese economy is too strong and as a result countries around the world are refusing to become a part of Americans alliance against China. On the other hand, China is reacting by forming alliances with countries such as Pakistan to counter American efforts.
