Deteriorating situation in Indian occupied Kashmir

Recent attack on security forces in Indian occupied Kashmir has highlighted the unresolved dispute between India and Pakistan. Overwhelming majority of Kashmiris wants freedom from Indian rule. India has killed tens of thousands civilians since the strengthening of freedom movement in 1989.

India is breaching the resolutions of United Nations upholding the right of self-determination by Kashmiris. India has refused to organize a plebiscite to determine the will of Kashmiris.

India as usual is blaming Pakistan for deteriorating situation in Kashmir. India should know that occupying a foreign land is an expensive business. Foreign occupations and wars have broken the back of USA. India should acknowledge its place and its limits. Occupying Kashmir will cost India a lot. India should spend money on its starving population instead of spending money on war in Kashmir.
